1. Unplug the EZ LYNK device from the vehicle's OBD-II port.
2. Wait approximately 60 seconds.
3. Plug the EZ LYNK device securely back into the OBD-II port.
4. Check the device for a blue status light. If the expected light is not illuminated, the device may not be receiving power or may have a hardware problem.
5. Inspect the vehicle's OBD-II port for bent pins, damaged pins, debris, a poor connection, or anything preventing the EZ LYNK connector from seating completely.
6. Check the phone again for the EZ LYNK WiFi network.
7. If the device still does not broadcast a network, contact EZ LYNK device support. The device may require additional firmware troubleshooting or replacement.

Troubleshooting steps

1. Do not treat a No Internet Connection warning as an EZ LYNK failure. The EZ LYNK WiFi connection communicates directly with the vehicle and device and does not provide normal internet access, so the phone may report that the network has no internet connection.
2. Restart the phone.
3. Power-cycle the EZ LYNK device by unplugging it from the OBD-II port, waiting briefly, and reconnecting it securely.
4. Stay close to the vehicle while attempting to connect.
5. Reduce potential WiFi interference where practical.
6. Verify that the EZ LYNK mobile application is current and update it to the latest available version if necessary.
7. Attempt the connection again.

Troubleshooting steps

1. Put the vehicle ignition in the RUN position without starting the engine. The ECM must be powered and awake before communication can occur.
2. Verify that the EZ LYNK device is securely connected to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
3. Inspect the connection for loose connections, damaged connectors, damaged cables, bent OBD-II pins, or incomplete connector engagement.
4. Retry communication.
5. If communication continues to fail, the ECM may require additional diagnosis. A locked ECM or controller-related condition may prevent normal communication. An example associated error may be $0333.
6. Contact your tuning technician if the problem continues.

1. Unplug the EZ LYNK device from the OBD-II port.

8. Retry the firmware update.
9. If the EZ LYNK device remains unresponsive, contact EZ LYNK device support for additional troubleshooting.

8. Verify that the vehicle battery is adequately charged. For flashing operations, maintain stable vehicle voltage and use an appropriate battery charger or power supply when necessary.
9. Retry the tune installation. If the problem continues, contact your tuning technician before repeatedly attempting to flash the vehicle.
