Understanding Our Clutch Kits
Our clutch kits are categorized by stages and materials to help you easily identify the right fit for your vehicle and driving needs. The stage of a clutch generally indicates its torque capacity and intended use, ranging from daily driving to competitive racing. The friction material—whether it's Organic, Ceramic, or Kevlar—plays a significant role in the clutch's performance characteristics, such as engagement smoothness and wear resistance.
Stage 1 Clutches are designed for vehicles with minor performance upgrades or for those seeking a more durable and reliable replacement for the OEM clutch. These kits offer a balance between performance and drivability, making them ideal for daily drivers.
Stage 2 Clutches are suitable for vehicles with more significant performance upgrades. These kits offer higher torque capacity and are built to handle more aggressive driving and moderate racing applications.
Friction Materials: The choice of friction material affects the clutch's engagement characteristics and longevity. Organic material provides smoother engagement and is well-suited for daily driving, while Ceramic offers higher performance at the expense of a stiffer pedal feel. Kevlar, known for its durability, provides a middle ground between Organic and Ceramic, offering both performance and comfort.
