Overview
Custom diesel engine tuning for 2008–2010 Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel. Each calibration is prepared for the specific truck, its supported hardware, modifications, tire size, gearing, transmission configuration, and intended use.
Power Level Options
- Level 1 - Optimized for Heavy Towing: predictable response and controlled drivability for heavier towing use.
- Level 2 - Optimized for Light Towing: balanced response for lighter trailers and mixed-use driving.
- Level 3 - Daily Driver / Economy: smooth, practical calibration for everyday street use.
- Level 4 - Street Performance: more assertive response for performance-oriented street driving.
- Level 5 - Max Effort / Track: the most aggressive available calibration, intended only for an appropriately configured vehicle and use case.
- All 5 Power Levels: includes all five available calibrations for the vehicle.
Vehicle Compatibility
Fits 2008–2010 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty models with the 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel. Compatibility is limited to supported vehicle and controller combinations.
Custom Tuning
The Tune Shop develops the calibration around the truck's actual configuration and intended use. Accurate vehicle information is required so the tune can account for relevant modifications, tire size, gearing, towing needs, transmission setup, and supported tuning hardware.
Tuning Requirements
- Supported engine control architecture: PCM / 5R110 TCM.
- HP Tuners requires 2 Ford or Universal credits for the engine controller. Optional transmission-controller tuning, where supported and requested, requires additional credits.
- EZ LYNK permanent send-and-receive access requires 10 tokens.
- On-the-fly switching is not included or implied. Each selected calibration is supplied for the supported flashing workflow.
Supported Tuning Platforms
HP Tuners and EZ LYNK are supported for this application. Platform selection must match the customer's compatible device and workflow.

I understand that The Tune Shop will not provide emissions tampering calibrations for vehicles operated on public roads where prohibited by law.
- Stock Read Required: I understand that I must submit a stock read file or the required vehicle/ECM read information before custom tuning can be created. Tuning cannot begin until the required information has been received.
- Custom Vehicle-Specific Tuning: I understand that all tuning is custom-made specifically for my vehicle, regardless of whether the vehicle is stock or modified. I am responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding the vehicle, installed modifications, and current configuration.
- Initial Tune Turnaround: I understand that the initial custom tune typically requires 3–5 business days to complete after all required files, read information, and vehicle information have been received.
- Tune Revision Turnaround: I understand that requested tune revisions may require up to 2 business days to complete after the necessary datalogs, feedback, or other requested information has been submitted.
