2019–2026 Ram 2500 / 3500 6.4L HEMI Engine Tuning is a custom remote-tuning service built around your specific truck rather than a generic off-the-shelf calibration. We review the truck's configuration, modifications, supporting hardware, fuel requirements, and intended use, then tailor the calibration to the combination.
The remote-tuning process allows the calibration to be refined using vehicle data so throttle response, drivability, torque management, transmission interaction, and overall engine behavior are matched to the truck's actual setup. Whether the truck is primarily used for daily driving, towing, hauling, work, or performance use, the calibration is developed around how the vehicle is actually used.

How Remote Tuning Works
- Provide the requested vehicle information, modifications, fuel type, and tuning goals.
- Read or flash the vehicle using the supported tuning platform selected for the product.
- Install the supplied base calibration.
- Provide requested data logs when needed so the calibration can be evaluated using data from your actual truck.
- Receive calibration revisions through the remote-tuning process until the initial tune is completed.
Important Fitment & Licensing Notes
- Supported tuning platform: HP Tuners for confirmed supported applications.
- PCM unlock: An HP Tuners-compatible PCM unlock/upgrade may be required before tuning. The exact requirement should be determined by model year and controller.
- HP Tuners licensing: HP Tuners currently lists 2 credits for ECM licensing on its supported 2019–2024 Ram 2500/3500 6.4L applications. Credits are separate from The Tune Shop tuning service.
- 2025–2026 trucks: Vehicle availability is confirmed, but tuning-platform/controller support should be verified before ordering.
- Additional licensing may be required if transmission tuning or another controller is being tuned.
- Exact compatibility should be confirmed using the vehicle year, VIN, controller, and current tuning-platform support.

Our complete remote-tuning service. Your calibration is developed around the vehicle's actual combination and refined using requested datalogs and calibration revisions as reasonably necessary to complete the initial tuning process.
Remote Forced Induction Tune
Our complete remote-tuning service for applicable aftermarket or substantially modified forced-induction combinations. This option includes calibration development, requested datalog review, and revisions appropriate for the supported turbocharged or supercharged combination.

I understand that The Tune Shop will not provide emissions tampering calibrations for vehicles operated on public roads where prohibited by law.
- Stock Read Required: I understand that I must submit a stock read file or the required vehicle/ECM read information before custom tuning can be created. Tuning cannot begin until the required information has been received.
- Custom Vehicle-Specific Tuning: I understand that all tuning is custom-made specifically for my vehicle, regardless of whether the vehicle is stock or modified. I am responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding the vehicle, installed modifications, and current configuration.
- Initial Tune Turnaround: I understand that the initial custom tune typically requires 3–5 business days to complete after all required files, read information, and vehicle information have been received.
- Tune Revision Turnaround: I understand that requested tune revisions may require up to 2 business days to complete after the necessary datalogs, feedback, or other requested information has been submitted.
