Overview
2022–2024 Can-Am Defender Engine Tuning is a custom remote-tuning service for supported Can-Am Defender models equipped with compatible Rotax engine and ECM combinations.
Rather than supplying a generic off-the-shelf calibration, each tune is developed around your specific Defender, engine configuration, modifications, supporting hardware, fuel requirements, tire configuration, and intended use.
The remote-tuning process allows the calibration to be reviewed and refined using actual vehicle data so throttle response, drivability, torque delivery, and overall engine behavior can be matched to the way your Defender is configured and used.

How Remote Tuning Works
- Provide the requested vehicle information, modifications, fuel type, tire information, and tuning goals.
- Confirm the Defender's engine/controller combination and supported tuning platform.
- Read or flash the vehicle using the selected supported tuning platform.
- Install the supplied base calibration.
- Provide requested data logs when needed.
- Receive calibration revisions until the initial tune is completed.
Important Fitment & Licensing Notes
- EZ LYNK: 4 EZ LYNK Tokens, a compatible AutoAgent, and the applicable Can-Am/BRP diagnostic cable.
- HP Tuners: Not assigned to this product because current project support data does not verify 2022–2024 Defender coverage.
- Controller service: No separate controller unlock/upgrade service is assigned to this ME17 group.
Credits, tokens, controller services, hardware, and cables are separate from The Tune Shop tuning service.

- Initial Tune Turnaround: I understand that the initial custom tune typically requires 3–5 business days to complete after all required files, read information, and vehicle information have been received.
- Tune Revision Turnaround: I understand that requested tune revisions may require up to 2 business days to complete after the necessary datalogs, feedback, or other requested information has been submitted.
